PASSION FOR YOUR VISION
I learnt this lesson from Rain, and hence quoting it as below,
On a random day in monsoons, as I left from my office building and stepped outside, I felt the cool breeze on my face. It was raining, I could feel those tiny droplets on my face. I rushed to find a shelter as everybody else did. And in that short lapse of time, I observed- the roads, the trees, the buildings, bricks, towers, shops and the twigs — every bit around was shining iridescently as if radiating the bliss of rain. As people were seen running to find shelters, our little friends were cheerfully dabbling themselves in the splashes.
Sun also did find shelter behind the clouds but seemingly was not as afraid as we
were. In a blink of an eye, these precipitated vapours pouring from sky to earth had
rejuvenated every being around- a blessing of God.
And then my mind wondered — if rain is such a beautiful bliss, why do we really run
away from it.
Because we are afraid of being carried away by the storms, those splashes of water
terrify us rather than making us feel merry. Perhaps that’s what our perception is.
We live in a fear, a constant fear of getting swayed away with the storms, being
judged, so we hide ourselves and our dreams. Why?
And a realisation dawned upon me. Devoured by the shades of grey, we forget to
ride the tides of charm.
Why? You don’t need to hide yourself. Have faith in yourself. Step outside. Let those little drops of hope embrace you, let your joys fly, place yourself in the orbit of happiness because every rain is not a storm my dear. Let not fear rule your soul. Your perception defines your living. Rain is a teacher- it teaches us to shed away dust of past, to rejuvenate for a brighter future. Learn from your experiences and grow towards success. Be prudent but don’t be fearful.
Step out of those predefined norms, give wings to your dreams, give fuel to your passion and work towards your vision. Let your umbrella of rules rest. Let those people in the shelter be there. You step up in the rain of passion and dance in puddles of success. A little boat of effort sails a long long way! Give your boat a try
